Speaker’s interview will air on Friday 10th October at 6:00 AM PDT / 9:00 PM AWST
Joshua Tree (Thomason) is a multidisciplinary artist and musician whose career has spanned over 20 years across visual arts, video production, photography, design, and music composition.
From working at Vodafone Australia’s marketing headquarters, The Black Dog Institute, Aboriginal communities in the Central Desert to Cape York, to serving as Creative Director of a new art gallery in Western Australia, Joshua has cultivated a practice rooted in connection and creative expression.
As a musician he has performed at festivals and stages across Australia and internationally in Japan, the UK, Italy, and Bali. At retreats, workshops and events he creates live sound tracks for deep transformative journeys, guiding participants into states of meditation, embodied movement and somatic intelligence.
A sonic alchemist weaving breath, skin, and wood into immersive soundscapes that awaken ancient codes of Australia and beyond. Expect shamanic-inspired music that bridges the seen and unseen, reconnecting you to the magic of life through rhythm, stillness, and flow.
His instruments—Didgeridoo, Handpan, world drums, flutes, harmonic vocals, Ngoni (West African harp), global percussion, and the 72-string Persian Santoor—invite you into a realm where sound becomes a portal for deep healing, presence, and embodied expression.
